This movie simpley sucked. It just wasnt that good and a little bit of a let down. Its boring acully. if you want a superhero movie, then this isnt the case. watch something else. Thats all im going to say about this one.

Perhaps worst of all, it fundamentally violates some of the Superman mythos. The bit about the kid was just ... odd. Why would they do that?

Lex Luthor was too clownish to be threatening, and not clownish enough to be funny -- so he was just sort of lame. Superman himself came off as wimpy and sort of feminine. This is Superman. Superman should be manly and heroic. Not whiny.

So, to sum up. Bad story, bad acting, bad direction. Bad movie.

If you're going to try to make a superhero movie way too dramatic and romantic, try to also put plenty of action in it for us people who need that to be entertained. Sure, the film is very well done, but can drag on for too long and become boring.

Slow in parts, but a great movie overall. Having brand new actors taking on every role is a hard challenge, but they pull it off well. The movie is very in-depth, which is why some don't like it, but I can't stop myself from watching this movie...

Slow in parts, but a great movie overall. Having brand new actors taking on every role is a hard challenge, but they pull it off well. The movie is very in-depth, which is why some don't like it, but I can't stop myself from watching this movie over and over again. Definitely better than the fourth film and also better than the third. It places up there with the two first film the story follows. Overall, a really cool movie and leaves me with great expectation for the next movie. Really well done.

It may not be the best movie of the year but its great. I loved the movie and the actors. The plot was a nice relieve from just the action packed bang bang of all the comic book movies.

It may not have the original Superman actor, but that doesn't mean it would be a great movie. A long waited movie, here, and worth the watch. Superman's back in Metropolis, but can he stop Lex Luthor?
