A masterpiece story backed up with great animation. Ghost in the shell innocence does state the obvious to some extent but gives a whole new way of thinking. Most people that have seen both the movies and the series should agree that this is nothing less the masterpiece in the Ghost In The Shell name. Sure it has more philosophy than the first and third movie combined but this is needed due to the fact the innocence focuses more on the emotional and Psychological part of ghost in the shell thus putting light on the GITS world making it more understandable.

Most people that fail to understand this movie fail to think in a philosophical way but the great visual entertainment and action sceens are meant for people like this who ust watch movies for the heck of it. Innocence is great and for those who think it was a let down are not true ghost in theb shell fans because ghost in the shell is not an action Flim.

Absolutely meaningless as a story, since it's one that has already been told before in the TV-series and manga. And classifying this gratuitous, pretentious piece of bullcrap as art goes beyond me. Simply a gigantic waste, and a monumental letdown...
