This was an awful movie, no point to it whatsoever. No super cool batles between Pokemon and in the end they forget anyway. No point to it whatsoever.

At the behest of Team Rocket leader Giovanni, a group of scientists create a superclone of the legendary Pokemon, Mew. However, the new creature, named Mewtwo, begins to doubt his purpose in life and the relationship between humanity and Pokemon and soon determines neither species as fit to live. As a result, he tricks the world's greatest Pokemon Trainers, including Ash and the gang, into coming to his island, capturing them and cloning their pokemon in order to repopulate the planet after he wipes it out with a psychic storm. Now our heroes (with a little legendary help) will need to put an end to Mewtwo's evil storm and superclones.

Not bad for the first Pokemon movie.
