Director of bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 911 Micheal Moore delves in to the depths and depravity of the American Health care Service. If you've seen either of the previous films mentioned it's pretty much what you'd expect from a a Micheal Moore film, Basically outlining profit over patients scaming policy owners out of payments of medical expenses, charging ludicrous prices and even throwing patients out into the cold. If you've enjoyed the previous shockumentaries from Mr Moore this shouldn't disappoint.

This movie really shows how the medical institution of U.S.A is. I really expected something good like this movie.

This latest feature length documentary from Michael Moore is all about America's shocking healthcare system. It shows how people without and with health insurance get royally screwed over. One uninsured guy that lost two fingers had the option of $12,000 for wedding finger or $60,000 for the middle one! Whereas as France and Cuba treat Americans for free. This and many of the other stories will shock audiences around the world, especially the US Governments treatment of volunteer 9/11 rescue workers. Comparatively our NUS (UK) is way better but it's nowhere near as picture perfect as Moore arrogantly portrays it. Overall, this film lacks the crucial impact of Bowling for Columbine or Fahrenheit 9/11.

Ok, Let me see if I have this strait? The guy that says that the government is no good in the last few of his films (Even repeats it in this film), you know, goes to war without reason (Bull) and encourages violence by letting anyone have a gun (More Bull) now says that it should take over medical care in the country? Way to go with the wind Mr. Moore

Ok, as for the film on it's own, most of the countries that are on the list that are above us have another thing in common that is far more important then his all encompassing view that the film is going for. How many of the doctors in those companies have to worry about multi million dollar lawsuits? This along with illegal-immigrants using emergency rooms (Who have to take them) and taking off without paying, the crumbling state of Medicare (ya, I want the government taking over the rest). Take these and the other things that choke up the Hospitals and make the cost of care outrageous and the big villain of this movie (HMOs) wouldn't be as needed as they are now a days. I can honestly say that while he may have facts in this, he really never looks at causes or other solutions.
