Birthday girl is a hugely enjoyable comedy thriller about a mild mannered bank official who decides to spice up his non existent love life by finding himself a sexy mail order bride! The fact she's Russian, an obvious sex maniac and can't speak a word of English, seems at first to be a good thing. But when Nadia's mysterious Russian cousins turn up out of the blue to celebrate her birthday, John finds himself drawn into an adventure that he didn't ask for but might be exactly what he needs.
