Woman Thou Art Loosed tells the story of Michelle Jordan, a young woman who grows up in an environment of molestation and abuse at the hands of her mother's boyfriend, Reggie while her mother Cassie looks the other way. All of this leads Michelle spiraling into a dark path that leads to prostitution, drugs, and prison. While in jail, Michelle is visited by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Through a series of flashbacks, the Bishop uncovers Michelle's dark past. Eventually released from prison, Michelle returns home. What takes place at the church altar on the last day of the revival closes a chapter of desolation and ends a destructive relationship that should have ended years before.
