A grim portrait of preteen kids acting as grownups, as they run unsupervised through the urban streets of new York City. The film focuses on a boy named Telly, who's goal is to de-flower as many virgins as he meets, with no protection, and no intention of ever seeing them again. The film takes a shocking turn when it is revealed that young Telly also knowingly has AIDS, and has infected at least one girl on her first time. The visuals never allow you to forget for one minute, that these are all children, playing hard partying, hard living adult roles. They fill their days with drugs, sex, alcohol and violence. A hard truth to take, but an important glimpse into how wrong things go when no one is minding the kids.
