Bad plot and acting. Special effects with the fangs were good but they did a really bad job with the blood and gore. And I don't understand the significance of the ending. Nothing was really explained and the movie could have been longer.

Godda love Uwe. Every time I sit down and watch on of his numberless masterpieces, my heart starts to fill with joy . No it's not because practically every one of his movies is a comedy to watch. It's cuz I feel better for myself. I feel hope that some day if things turn bad, if I end up a poor,sad man, I can always become like Uwe(well not always,I have to use the German laws of filmaking)-become a big time "blockbuster" director, who is buying video game licences like crazy, then keeps the change from the purchase to make the actual movie based on the game. Tell me straight, how many of you think that the BloodRayn movie costs not much than 10 000 $(including the payment of all the actors)? But regardless of all the facts, all the negative comments both from viewers and critics, the crapy movie earns, because of the popular game it conects ties with... such a disgrace. Well, Uwe is a clever man, he knows how the things work around. He knows how to derives benefit from the modern commercialization. He even believes himself. I raed in a game magazine a few days ago, an interview with him and he says that basically all of his movies are golden minds, because he knows how to aprroach them. Sweet Jesus!
Did I mentioned that the guy is a genius?

Can a bad movie really be bad? Movies based on games have always had a tendency to be bad and usually I stay clear from them. But, once in a while I just have to see for myself how bad a movie can really be. One such case is BloodRayne, it got a nice 2,6 on IMDB. So I thought what have I got to lose? I guess time and sanity.

Everyone is always **** about Uwe and how his movies are utter crap. Instead of just accepting this opinion from others and going with the flow of saying Uwe is crap, without actually watching one of his movies, I turned on BloodRayne. Well....Boll has really made well known actors into mindless underdeveloped characters who seem to have sprung out of a regular B-movie. How is it that he even got the movie passed the officials. The quality of the dialogs, the choreography or the camera-work is simply awful. He even manages to mess up a naked scene! How is it this guy is still considered a director and how is it, that he still gets the rights to make movies based on games?

Some movies are so bad that they become fun under certain conditions (Scary Movie series), but this one is truly an example of a an awful movie. Do yourself a favor and ignore this movie. It's just not worth the time.

It was so bad, I could barely watch the whole thing. The story was terrible, it was all over the place. The accents were terrible. And I love terrible movies i.e.: Judge Dredd, but this was beyond the it's so terrible it's good. Please keep your eyes away from this movie. Vampires are interesting creatures, but by God, this made them look like fools. Stay away from this one.

The dialog is laugh out loud horrible. Even the action scenes were bad. There are many bad vampire movies out there and this is one of them. Sir Ben Kingsley what were you thinking?
