This is another subpar movie from Uwe Boll (which describes all of his films), but this one has a moment or two that is redeeming, even though I felt like it was cast by a deaf monkey at various points in time, especially early on. Later in the film it comes together a little bit better.

You might ask yourself: Can a movie really be that bad? Well in the case of BloodRayne I can give a definitive answer to that...YES!! Save yourself some time and skip this one!

Godda love Uwe. Every time I sit down and watch on of his numberless masterpieces, my heart starts to fill with joy . No it's not because practically every one of his movies is a comedy to watch. It's cuz I feel better for myself. I feel hope that some day if things turn bad, if I end up a poor,sad man, I can always become like Uwe(well not always,I have to use the German laws of filmaking)-become a big time "blockbuster" director, who is buying video game licences like crazy, then keeps the change from the purchase to make the actual movie based on the game. Tell me straight, how many of you think that the BloodRayn movie costs not much than 10 000 $(including the payment of all the actors)? But regardless of all the facts, all the negative comments both from viewers and critics, the crapy movie earns, because of the popular game it conects ties with... such a disgrace. Well, Uwe is a clever man, he knows how the things work around. He knows how to derives benefit from the modern commercialization. He even believes himself. I raed in a game magazine a few days ago, an interview with him and he says that basically all of his movies are golden minds, because he knows how to aprroach them. Sweet Jesus!
