Chuck (Bing Crosby) and his fearless friend (Bob Hope) flee after setting a South African carnival on fire. After several similar episodes, they save enough money to return to the United States. Except that Chuck spends it on a dimand mine. By going through the jungle, they meet two con-women and help finance a wild safari.
