This movie is one of my favorites. I saw it on June 10th,2006 the day after it came out the second day. Lighning McQueen learns that there is more important things then just winning the piston cup. He learns that from an old race car driver.

lightning mcqueen is a hot shot rookie racer who nearly wins the piston cup. he is off to california for the championship race and by accident ends up in radaitor springs were he slowly changes his arogant ways and hekps the whole town. he finnaly gets to claifornia for the big race. he almost most wins the title but decides to help the king after he was wrecked by the bad boy chick hicks. he then returns to radiator springs putting the city back on the map.

A slightly disappointing movie. Cars is very original, but it just didn't have the heart of previous Pixar films. The movie was funny, but it just wasn't as entertaining as, say, Ratatouille or The Incredibles.

Yet another crude waste of time

Why did Pixar think this was a good idea? Clearly, this was one of the worst animated films to come out in years, and this badboy was up against the likes of "The Trumpet of the Swan" and "Shark Tale". Lighting seemed to embody everything Owen Wilson wanted to be: a drunk loser with great racing skills and killer abs. Pathetic. Very few things about this film is worth commenting about, especially considering the lack of legitimate jokes and story this movie possessed. The only reason one would watch this slop was the little short film about a music band before the movie started.
