Artemis Fowl (based on a book by Eoin Colfer) is a child super genius that uses his intelligence to outsmart the Fairy People. By kidnapping one of the LEPrecon officers, Holly Short, Artemis is able to hatch a plan based on exploiting the Fairy People for their legendary gold. During the process Artemis relies on the security of his bodyguard, Butler, and the cooperation of the Fairy People. Following Artemis's devious actions is a journey that spands several continents and even below the Earth's crust.
