I saw the film yesterday on Mystery Science Theater 3000, and it isn't that bad. It just has poor acting, Archie Hall jr., weird frame rate, and pointless plot. Other than that, you'll like this film starring a retarded caveman with a fake beard that is shaven. The best part of the movie; the comments made by the MST3K staff, it was hilarious, with quotes like "There's an oven in the living room", "Watch out for snakes", and "there goes one stupid boy". Let me give you the plot; Eegah means tall caveman, so yeah. This teenage girl named Roxy somehow passes out because she sees a caveman with a fake beard. Then, Archie Hall's character comes in hilarious MST3K fashion (Roxy screams waking up Archie: Roxy it's me MST: That's why I'm screaming). Later on, Eegah rarely is a threat in the movie, so why is it that he is killed at the end of the movie?
Later on, Archie Hall's character keeps complaining about his Dunebuggy, which isn't really superb, and convinces a "weeing" Roxy to ride in it. I don't know what the heck the movie's genre is supposed to be. I believe it's supposed to be a horror film, but don't worry kids, this film won't scare you. The only thing that will is Archie Hall's face. I believe the film's genre is "Crap"
If that wasn't enough, the frame rate is jumpy and actrocious. For example, Roxy and her weak father are in a cave, and then suddenly they are out of the cave in one tenth of a second. Also, when the caveman was gone getting flowers, they could've escaped. But no! They had to be stupid, and get "used" to the cave, and wait for the caveman to go Mike Tyson on them.
At the movie's end, Eegah somehow finds Roxy at a pool party, and he is about the hesitate to kill people. Taht's the problem, there is fake blood in the film, but Eegah hesitates to kill anybody all the time, and it's annoying. So anyways, police show up suddenly, and take out the threat (Arcgie Hall? No, dang!) They take out Eegah in at least 6 shots, when it should be one in the stomache. Then, he chooses to fall in the pool, but dies anyways. Then, Roxy's father reads a verse from the Genesis from the wrong verse. Overall, this film sucks and is easily the worst movie featuring a caveman ever made. Eegah has nothing to be liked about, except that it was made fun of in MST3K. Archie Hall isn't a talented director, a talented produce, and doesn't have a talented face, or is a talented actor. Overall, unless you love MST3K, please, please, please don't buy or rent this film.
