Joss Whedon is a Friggin Genious. The firefly series is top off in a great adventure.

Of-course I'm going to put this in my favourites. I am biased, I love the show. But, just because I did it does it mean you should?

Serenity is a sci-fi space-opera that is constantly described as "Star-Wars for the current century," honours bestowed upon a very un-Star Wars-like TV show, Battlestar Galactica. The truth is that Serenity is not so much a quality film as it is a vehicle of recruitment for would-be future Browncoats (A term similar Slipknot's "maggots" except with dignity). It is also a film that thousands of Firefly fans will call a favourite simply due to its history - what it took for fans to make this film. Others will love it because it's like an extra-long episode of the TV series.

Others will definitely hate it probably because it's labeled incorrectly (Star Wars it is not) or because it very efficiently kills all hope of there begin any sequels for many fans, a successful move if anything, for now Firefly fans are treated to prequel comics of the lowest quality.

Now that I think about it, I'm taking this off my "favourites" list.

Serenity. It is one of my favorite movies, based off of my favorite television series. I am a Firefly fanatic. I watch at least two episodes a week. I didn't learn about the wonderful series until late 2006. When I learned that Joss Whedon had created a movie sequel, I was excited. I could never find a copy of the film until January 2008, in a MovieXchange. I bought the movie (even though it was fullscreen, they had no widescreen version), watched, and now it is one of my favorites.
