no i didn't like the first "Step Up" movie.. I just love it.. I like cast, scenerio, soundtrack.. ooo, it's soooo perfect

Um not really something i would pay to see agian
its ok and it has its good bits....i guess...


The best thing that came out of this movie was the Song that Sean Paul & Keyshia cole made for it really

What can I say about this movie that has not already been said. I will ask you what is the difference between this movie and save the last dance? Not much. Its your run of the mill guy from the wrong end of the tracks falling for the goody goody...

What can I say about this movie that has not already been said. I will ask you what is the difference between this movie and save the last dance? Not much. Its your run of the mill guy from the wrong end of the tracks falling for the goody goody rich girl. The guy is played by channing tatum and the girl is played by jenna dewan. Both actors are in their 20s so how they can pass for high school students is beyond me. Both of the leads acting is as best average and the story is a been there done that idea. I must admit though the dancing is well done with both leads showing they can move. Maybe they could have done a movie of just various people dancing. This movie is also similar to another 2006 release take the lead except that one is better done. I would suggest it solely as a rental not a purchase.

Unlike all these other urban dance movies, step up has this certain characteristic that makes it enjoyable. It's really Nora and Tyler's chemistry together that makes the movie enjoyable. The music is also very entertaining especially the "Show Me the Money" song with the combination of the violin and the drums. Only gave it a 3 and a 1/2 because Tyler apologizing over and over again can be quite annoying. I wasn't too sure if this movie would be too interesting, but after watching it, i have to say im mixed, but more of in a good way.

It may sound a little obvious about the way everything is going to play out, but it's all displayed in such a great fashion that it doesn't matter. Dancer or not, you should def. see this movie if you haven't already!
