Can anyone say Taxi Driver?
The story is not Taxi driver, but close enough, just instead of it being in gritty New York City it's The Los Angeles Valley, with those kinds of non-gritty straight laced boring people. And this movie reflects that dull suburbia mentality. The burbs in LA are just like anywhere else, boring.
The acting is the only thing that helps this film. The direction is so bad that at times, it actually chews into the acting and I feel like I'm actually standing on the set while they rehearse.
The story is like the burbs, not a single interesting point, not a twist, nothing but nice little cookie cutter houses all lined in a nice little row, leading right to the door you go through everday.
