Had awesome action and a great storyline.This is my third favorite Harry Potter movie.It was entertaining and exciting.It wasn't horrible or anything like that it was cool.

Though this movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, gave viewers the basic story, many details that made this book enriching and powerful were over looked. For instance, the fact that the first chapter was not more emphasized downplays the importance of Harry's loneliness and suffering. Not only is this part rather choppy and short, it does not include the various letters sent by other members of the Order, which I felt, should have been shown because without them, you began to wonder if the Order would come at all. Another example of this rather shabby piece of filmery is the fact that Quidditch was not shown. Quidditch is a rather important part of the series itself, and was even more important in this particular book. A part of Harry's trials involved his Quidditch schedule. In this book, the fact that Ron is now the keeper further shows that Harry is now having to face more situations. While some details did make it into this shoddy movie, I feel that it would have been much better if more of the details were included. After all, a seven hundred and eighty page book made into a two hour and twenty minute movie spells terrible!

The Harry Potter Franchise has gone of a cliff. The first movie was barely watchable and then we are subject to much of the sameness through out. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint once again did nothing for me in this movie and had me more heading for the door than actually watching. Tom Felton was near on invisible in this movie and this just dragged the movie down even further. Jason Issacs role seemed somewhat lackluster. The movie has done more to bore me than the books and i would recommend that you watch this movie only if your life depends on it.

Best harry potter movie ever made like since iam 12 and my mum says there becoming more dark and adultly :\ so i shouldn't like it because of that neither should other kids my age but i think its a amazing adventure

This movie is just a little better than the previous HP film. Still pretty boring and strange and only kind of entertaining. This movie was good over all.

harry potter is back for harry potter and the order of phoenix i have to say i saw this one last year and yes i did like it it was ah good movie the casting in it was pretty descent but the only thing i didnt like about it wich were goanna get to ah sec now the story remains the same if you hadent read any of the harry potter books now the hero harry potter was in the park until his jerky brother dudley comes in then they got under attack by dementors wich the wraiths of harry potter this one of those flims wich i thought it was good now later on he gets banned from hogwarts wich he got framed from some of the ten best villans in any harry potter well i have to say the casting was descent but the fact the medicore script was pretty dissapoting you know i just cant wait for harry potter and the half-blood prince to come out now the whole thing that fact the whole thing is just the same from the recent harry potter books like the deathly hollows i havent read book but there were some dissapointments in this movie like the when voldermort returns as the main villan rathier then that bossy teacher umbridge as the main vilan coudlint just of focus on voldermort but the story was dissapointing but anyways it could been any better well the script like i said was medicore cause how dissapointing the script was well this is ah good movie the ending was pretty good but overall this one of the best harry potter movies out there well overall i give this movie.

4 and half-stars out of 5.

The Good: great descent casting with awesome acting great speacial effects some cool momments.

The Bad: dissapointing story and script if you havent read the harry potter books theres nothing interisting about it.

The Ugly: well voldermort couldint just been the main villan then umbridge the ending was ok.

While it's the longest book in the series, this is the shortest film to date. I didn't reread the book prior to going to see the movie and it may have helped as I was very unaware of what was left out. As it is, the movie is very good and flows...

I didn't reread the book prior to going to see the movie and it may have helped as I was very unaware of what was left out. As it is, the movie is very good and flows very well. It seems the filmmakers have cut away a lot of unneeded fat in making this movie.

I think as a Harry Potter fan, I enjoy the movies on a higher level because I am familiar and enjoy the whole magical world mythos that JK Rowling has created. For me, it's great to see a book that I enjoyed so much brought to life on the big screen. The movie starts off where the last one left off. Voldemort has returned but the Ministry of Magic refuses to acknowledge it, so they start a smear campaign of Harry & Dumbledore. Meanwhile, the Order of the Phoenix, the secret organization started to fight Voldemort has been brought back together for the impending wizard war. Enter Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge. What a delightfully evil character and Staunton portrays her brilliantly. Every great movie needs a great villain, and Voldemort not withstanding, Umbridge provides a grand adversary for Harry. She's there to impose her strict will and control over the students at Hogwarts. Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry not quite as angst ridden as he was in the book, but you can tell he's still dealing with the fact that there's someone out there trying to kill him and barely anybody believes him. Due to Umbridge's new rules, Harry helps organize "Dumbledore's Army" to help train the students for their war with Voldemort. Emma Watson & Rupert Grint also have a lot to do in the film, and their growth in acting and familiarity with the roles shows. Voldemort & the Death Eaters this time around seem a lot more menacing and creepier than they did last time out.

Helena Bonham Carter is superb as Bellatrix LeStrange, but she is woefully underused as was Alan Rickman as Professor Snape.

My only gripe with the film would be Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore. Once again, it's a very flat performance, he has none of the magic, charisma, or screen presence that Richard Harris had which really detracts from his scenes. The last 20 minutes of this film, a climactic battle scene, is shot in 3-D IMAX and it is absolutely stunning to watch. Last year, Superman Returns got the same treatment, but there were no battle scenes shot in 3-D. Harry Potter's 3-D is breathtaking to watch as bolts are literally flying out of the screen. For any Harry Potter fan, I highly recommend the film. It's the darkest so far. It's not perfect but it's definitely enjoyable, especially in IMAX!
