I love As Good As It Gets (also by James L. Brooks), but this film does nothing for me. It's too long and too much. The multiple threads of plotlines are confusing, and the story is all over the place. Brooks simply takes on too much in this movie, and his celebrated dialogue? It seems forced and maudlin to me. As far as the acting goes, everyone does a pretty good job, but I was impressed with Adam Sandler's ability to pull off emotional scenes. He uses his just-your-regular-guy vibe to great effects in his role as a frustrating father and husband. However, I did not like any characters in the movie. They annoyed the heck out of me, so did the film.

I loved this movie. Excellant movie about family and commitment. This is a wonderful movie.

Not that of a movie it was a ok storyline but not a great storyline all the acting was done pretty good i give is a 3 star rating.
