Filmed partially with 16mm handheld that was blown up to 35mm standard, all in Black and White, this gritty, dark surreal film about the nature of numbers, Pi in particular, will take you on a journey you had no idea you were going to take. And let me state my assumptions: 1. Films and Movies are not the same thing. Films are made from inner reflection, thought turned deed. Movies are merely for money making ventures. Pi, being a film, holds true to this basic principle. Be warned, the crazy dealings of a man searching beyond, stretching the boundary of the mind and finding the magic 216, may leave you in a place where you must watch this movie three or four more times in a row.
