This movie is so awesome it is the best marvel movie that I have seen so far. This movie deserves a 5 star outta 5 star.

Robert Downey Jr acted as Tony Stark, an owner of a weapon industry. In one of his business trip, he was kidnapped. He saved himself by building A kind of robot which had to be used manually as in wear it. And the adventures begin......

It keeps the characters true and the action 21st century ass kickingly awesome. The sheer graphics of the suit alone are enough to impress even though it was shortly released after Transformers (2008) who set the wow factor in place for the year. This movie has managed to stay in the same league impressing fans enough for there to be a second film soon to be in the works. This is a film to be on every classic comic fan collector’s shelf as soon as it’s released on DVD later this year.

What can i say that everyone else hasn't? This movie was a pitch perfect presentation of one of marvel's heavy hitters. This one renewed my faith in Marvel movies and is possibly the best representation of one of their titles on film.

Iron Man was the first big summer blockbuster of 2008, however I happened to see it after I saw the Dark Knight. Iron Man was a fantastic movie, with a ton of action from beginning to end that will have your heart pounding when the action picks up.

Iron Man revolves around Tony Stark, one of the wealthiest men in the world and owner of Stark Industries, a weapons development company. Tony Stark is along on a mission with the U.S. armed forces when his convoy is struck by an attack.

Stark is held captive and is forced to build an extremely powerful bomb, however he has his own plans. Stark builds his first Iron Man suit. Stark uses this suit to escape form captivity, however this suit does not satisfy him.

When Stark returns back to the United States he discovers his company has been working behind his back and decides to do something about it. Stark develops a new and improved suit to help him take down those who are destroying his company.

Iron Man is a fantastic summer blockbuster filled with heart pounding action, a bass pumping score, and plenty of special effects that put this movie over the top. Iron Man wasn't quite as good as the Dark Knight, but it still a very very good movie.

Excellent run with the material, I can't see how this could have been any better. Can't wait for number 2 where they won't have to do as much back story since it's all ready out there.

Iron Man can be described in one word: Perfect. I honestly could not find anything not to like about a pitch perfect film. This might very well be just about the best movie so far of 2008. Robert Downey Jr. gives an Oscar worthy performance as multi-billionaire weapons manufacturer Tony Stark. After demonstrating a new missile in Afghanistan, him and the the soldiers he is with fall under attack and Stark is kidnapped and put in an off the map base in the mountains. The terrorists who capture him order him to build a missile. Luckily, he's good with scraps. He builds the ultimate weapon of destruction, a suit of iron with some pretty cool gadgets and gizmos. He escapes the base and goes back home to his technologically advanced mansion. There, his assistant, played by Gwenyth Paltrow who does her best work in years, helps him get back on his feet. Back in Malibu, Stark stuns everyone, including his power hungry business partner, also played excellently by Jeff Bridges, by announcing that Stark industries will no longer be manufacturing weapons and will be helping people. Tony goes on to build a sleek version of his suit that looks as though god carved it, and begins helping people out. the climax is great along with the performances from Robert Downey Jr. Gwenyth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, and Terrence Howard. I've been reading comic books since I was about seven years old so I can truthfully say, this lives up to one of my favorite superheros of all time, and finally they make a movie about him. Yep, that's right, I'm one of those comic book geeks and yes, I go to Comic Con every year. I really hope this is a lasting franchise and Robert Downey Jr. is amazing in this film. Probably the best comic book superhero movie since Batman Begins. If there's one movie to rush to the theater for this summer, that's Iron Man.
