With such a bold subject matter (the birth of the Devil), you need some pretty serious and believable performances . The assemble of skilfully cast actors really deliver both in their respective roles; Peck , Remmick , Warner and Billy Whitelaw as the scary nanny. The whole proceedings are enhanced by a series of inventive death sequences and the malevolent music (of Chanting monks) by J. Goldsmith.

I am deeply saddened that they tried making sequals (and worse - a REMAKE) because no one in their right minds could ever hope to top the original Omen. It's unique, it's creepy, it's a good movie.
I love it.
