Very slow for a 'horror movie.' Nothing thrilling happens until the climax of the film, which isn't that much of a climax either. Granted, the movie was made in 1930's, so everything about it is outdated (terrible editing for example .. and the ending is completely ridiculous & probably sexist), but I thought it would be a bit more interesting than what it turned out to be. The topic of people's fascination with waxworks is an interesting subject to explore though.
