From the Moment they met it was Murder! Double Indemnity is an early film noir masterpiece. In fact, in 1992 the film was accepted by the Library of Congress as part of the U.S. National Film Registry. Walter Neff is a smooth talking insurance salesman who makes a sales call on client Phyllis Dietrichson to renew her husband's auto insurance policy. Neff makes a play for the married woman and not long after the affair begins. However, femme fatale Dietrichson has homicide on her mind and hatches a plan with Neff that his underwriting department might not approve of.
