There have been several unauthorized documentaries already produced about the life of slain and influential rap artist Tupac Shakur, but this is the first to be fully authorized and produced by his mother, in conjunction with MTV Films. The film includes rare video footage, including one of his last concerts, and several unreleased songs as well as some of his hit songs. The audience will also see, for the first time, home movies, private photographs, and hear excerpts from his poetry, journals and personal letters.
