This is a classic western with Gary Cooper playing the lead. He plays a marshall on his last day. Some men he has sent away have been pardoned and they are gunning for him. He turns to the town who he has helped clean up for help and they all turn away. Thats the basic premise of this movie and its pretty good. Cooper is great playing the marshall. You can see the tension on his face as noon comes. The movie is filmed in real time so as the time progresses in the movie it progresses in the actual film also. This movie is wonderfully written and acted. The black and white works well with this film. This movie is definately worth a rental to see a great classic western with great acting.
