A super compelling film, a masterfully told story, and plenty of action and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat right to the very end! Will Smith truly captures and commands your attention in this story of a rugged detective, determined to keep humans safe from the doomsday scenario of robots rising up against humans and overthrowing their society, with a genius plot twist right at the very end! :idea: A must see that I highly recommend! :D Enough said, true believers! ;)

I, robot is a rare action movie that has stunning special effects and cool action but is still a great movie without it. It has Will Smith making funny jokes, a funny grandma, and an awesome depiction of the future.

I Robot, was a very intresting movie. It had a good storyline of a Robot being framed for murder. Will Smith did a great job playing his character in the movie. It had a great action. I give this movie 3 stars.

I liked this movie. Will Smith does a good job in this action role, and the plot was good. I liked the feel they gave me of the future, and how realistic it looked. The robots were shown en masse, and it was cool to see so many at one time. It also has one of my favorite movie quotes of all time: "You are experiencing a car accident."

This movie is one of my favorites for these reasons and more.

Based off of a work of acclaimed science fiction author, Isaac Asimov, I, Robot is about what happens when robots, once humanities servants, break free. Although that's not the entire story, we have Det. Spooner (played by Will Smith) who seems to be the only person who has a fear against robots in a futuristic society where robots are mainstream in use. Then a murder happens and the only culprit is a very human robot. But is everything as it seems? That is the question for Spooner, and for many others. The plot is very well done telling a great detective story, with the exception of the ending which sadly is a little predictable, and should be a reason for all sci fi fans to watch. Will Smith is great as the flawed yet street smart Detective Spooner who is the perfect person to question why there are robots. The supporting cast on the whole does a pretty good job; Shia Lebouf and James Cromwell are great, with the exception of Bridget Moynahan's character. Moynahan plays the scientist who aids Spooner, but her character seems to be so out of the real world that she doesn't seem to fit in with the movie. She seems to be more used as a foil to Spooner's street smarts as having no common sense. The action sequences in the movie are very well done, and I would like to point out the great chase scene where Smith has to avoid robots dropping onto his car.

Overall, I, Robot is a good sci fi movie and really shows Will Smith in an uncommon action role; a flawed character. Sadly though the plot does become a little predictable near the end and Moynahan's character (not entirely her fault) is a little annoying. For sci fi fans, this is a must watch, and for others, Will Smith is enough warrant to take a gander.

A surprisingly good Sci-Fi Thriller. With great effects and a twisted story plot, I, Robot is a film that will keep you pondering 'til the end. I, Robot has an extraordinary way of twisting a plot to pieces and realing it back in without a scratch. In other words it's a film that will have wondering what the hell is going on until the very end when everything becomes clear. Most movies fall apart when trying somthing so spectacular, leaving the viewers still confused when leaving the theaters, but not I' Robot. Will Smith also does some great acting in this movie as well. It's a must see whether you're a Thrill seeker, or a Drama lover. Anyone and everyone should love this movie.
