It's not that bad and It is half as times as the other Scary Movies. It has great acting, Brenda Meeks returns, the favorite characters from Scary Movie 3 make cameos, and Craig Bierko is a great Tom in this movie. It has great humor for a parody. But not as good as the first.

Not as funny as the first, not as silly as the second, not as clever as the third, 'Scary Movie 4' has some hilarious gags, but it also has some clunkers. At this point, the franchise is certainly showing its age.

Scary Movie 4 is the best Scary Movie to be created it even has the Girls from The Girls next door. The story in this Movie makes sense and is really funny.

scary movie 4 is the fourth sequal to scary movie ok before the review starts lets take a look at the previous ones now i liked the first saw little bit it was funny but solid the other one i hated scary movie 2 wich was disgusting awful but it was body humor i loved the third that was the best now scary movie 4 isnt that very good sequal is it funny yes is it goanna be a good one not so much but it does have some decent humor and nice casting from the previous but it so over the top with its ridiclous sord of goofy kina thing so the story in this one talks about a girl named cindy who is a caretaker for some women (spoof on the grudge) then later then martians attack ( spoof on war of the worlds) the later on the aliens came in and took over the world trying to stop later then there spoofs on others like saw and the village ok it sounds funny but its not that funny with its perdicble plot and some
lame momments that arent funny so the whole thing is just a gag joke so this is the part where the people wrent laughing for attempts at humor so far this has to be ok the acting was good and with a dsecent cast even though with a mediocre script so if the movie dosent make you interisted your goanna hate this movie with random humor so if you want to see the funniest random movie scary movie 4 is good but some flaws that may interist you overall i give the movie.

3 stars out of 5.

The Good: good acting descent humor and nice casting.

The Bad: humor gets lousy you wont mind the stupid story or the ridiclously ending.

The Ugly: there nothing much know when they make scary movie 5 already.

Now with David Zucker as director (like last time) and even Jim Abrahams as one of the writers i was expecting a funny movie. Allready after 5 minutes you can see that the movie tries too mutch to be funny. The jokes is not funny most of the time, but just silly and annoying. The directing isn´t bad, but not ver good either. I was expecting more, but i know i shouldn´t have. Only the third and maybe the first is the good ones in this series.

It's a pretty hit-or-miss movie. Some jokes just work (Cindy's hand actions and facial expressions as she's describing something very nasty, Cindy making the Japanese boy scream, etc.), some that shouldn't work, but do (the blind lady going to what she believes to be her toilet, Michael Jackson's cameo appearance, "I've been walking beside you the whole time.") but unfortunately, there are some jokes that are either too childish to be taken seriously and laughed at, or just too contrived and have been "seen before", which after four movies, would seem pretty inevitable, wouldn't you think?

The acting starts out a little shaky, but develops. I give particular praise to Anna Faris' acting, which as always, remains hilarious, believable, and consistent for the whole movie.

Should you bother to watch this film? Yes. While there aren't too many laugh out loud moments (this could be because I've seen it a lot of times), there are definitely enough jokes to satisfy you through the entire duration. Rent it first, and if you like it, buy it later.

Certainly not the best ZAZ movie, after the Shaquille moment at the begining of the film, it took me a while to a least smile.

Certainly not a great movie, not as funny as The Naked Gun, but entertaining.
