This retelling of the origination of the caped crusader is absolutely amazing. At first, I was very skeptical as to actually going to see this movie because the last Batman film, Batman and Robin, had been an utter disaster. However, after hearing great reviews from some of the harshest of critics I decided to give the film a chance. I was not in the least disappointed. It has been the best superhero movie yet.

I was skeptical, but this movie was awesome. I loved seeing the beginnings of Batman and Christian Bale did awesome. I also thought Liam Neeson was great in his role. Great story and action...a must see.

The Batman franchise was in such dire straits after the fiasco of a film, Batman and Robin, it needed real quality to recover. And Batman Begins delivered.

Personally, I felt it was a bit too dark. The yellowish color scheme also bothered me a bit. My favorite Batman movie will always be the original Tim Burton Batman, but there's no doubt Batman Begins is a quality film.

Most importantly it re-grounded the Batman franchise after it had floated off into campy silliness.

Christopher Nolan and the entire cast and crew deliver just what Batman needs to be a modern movie comic hero. It gives not only action and plot, but also what goes on within the characters themselves. The film is so well-adapted and provides a great origin to the character, that it makes up for a little lack of breakthrough in action and twists. The story, cast, script, and direction of Batman Begins really brings forward the true Batman we all love!

Christopher Nolan directed the original drama Memento. In Batman Begins he takes on a whole new genre and style. And does it well. Christian Bale plays Bruce Wayne, a man who´s parents are killed by a thug. His father was theleaderof the Wayne corporation and Bruce takes it over. In the search for revenge he has to flee to a prison far away from Gotham. He is later trained to not fear anything and becomes Batman (to make it short). Why do I only give this 3 1/2 stars? since I watched this a day beforeI saw The Dark Knight, which was yesterday,It falls in the shadow of the sequel. Still,It´s a great movie And it´s recomemded for pretty mutch anyone.

  This is the Batman movie I've been waiting for; more correctly, this is the movie I did not realize I was waiting for, because I didn't realize that more emphasis on story and character and less emphasis on high-tech action was just what was needed.
