I got to see it in the theaters back before it went all uber-popular (aren't I great?). Awesome movie with quirky, likable (in a strange, extremely dorky, outcast sort of way) characters, though perhaps slow-paced.

This movie is so dumb that it turns into a hilarious movie. It's so funny through out. I mean many of the lines are so classic and I love to quote them. It's the same for Nacho Libre.

This movie is stupid in a funny kind of way. I wouldn't wanna watch it all day, because its kinda pointless. But it makes me laugh, the first few times.

A bit of an all-out guilty pleasure of a comedy film. It's incredibly stupid as well as rather overrated but I'm still willing to watch it from time to time.

what a funny movie. it's kinda slow at the beginning but when pedro triesto win the part as student body presidentit gets seriously funny . watchthe part after the credits, it's the most funniest part of the movie

I loved this movie. It never gets old when I see it. I must have seen it about 5 times and it's still hilarious seeing Napoleon slap Kip in the face.

The pros:

The pros:
-Very original. I've never seen anything like this.

-Hilarious. Napoleon is that one nerdy kid you see at school everyday that behaves so dumb, it's funny.

-The actors were excellent. Jon Heder really brought out the kind of kid as Napoleon. Plus the person who played Pedro did a great job too.

-And, for those of you who have seen the "Trapped in the Closet," episode of South Park, Tom Cruise is definitely "not as good as that guy that played Napoleon Dynamite."

-That organ music was a cool feature to the movie.

The cons:
-Could have had a better plot.

-It was annoying when everyone quoted lines from this movie. The quotes are now going to go down in history as something like "That was so 2004!"

Napoleon Dynamite has a number of eccentric people and odd humor, but little plot. In the end, it makes little difference, because the movie is just plain funny.
