As quirky as its title and box art suggest, and as disjointed as the philosophies that make it; I Heart Huckabees is, ultimately, a satisfying film for people interested in philosophy but it feels like it should have been an accompanying documentary to What The Bleep Do We Know? rather than its own full-length fiction. It's neat, and for the first hour you'll be entertained by its pace and out-of-this-world effects, but it's desensitizing and, in the end, a little alienating. If you can relate to the struggles faced by the characters then you may get something out of this film, but as a casual movie-watcher then the extent of your affection ends with respect for it. Different people will get different opinions, so watch it. It's a neat rental.

A really great movie that is hilarious and sparks thought. Great performances by everyone, including Jude Law, Lily Tomlin, Dustin Hoffman, and Jason Schwartzman. David O. Russel also has a great visual style, which is evident throughout the film.

"I (Heart) Huckabee's" is really a cool little movie that never received the praise that it deserved. I did not get a chance to see it until it was release on DVD and I was surprised at just how funny it was.
