Bobby was a good movie, but it wasn't as good as it could have been. This movie focused more on other people who were in the hotel where Robert F. Kennedy was killed, rather than Senator Kennedy himself.

I would have preferred this movie to focus more on Senator Kennedy instead, however I am not saying this is a bad movie. The movie had a ton of big name actors, including Helen Hunt, Shia LaBoef, Ashton Kutcher (who played a terrible hippie), Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Elijah Wood, the big name actors and actresses just kept coming.

If you're looking for a film that follows Senator Kennedy, this movie will highly disappoint you. The movie took a different focus, and followed members of the hotel staff leading up to the shooting. This was a good movie, but I feel it could have been better.

And the movie have the characters have problem in their life that they are trying to solve before RFK comes to the hotal, before he was shot. I give this movie 2 thumps down.

An extremely powerful movie
Written and directed by Emilio Estevez (who also stars) this is a great example of what an ensemble cast can do.

An extremely powerful movie
Written and directed by Emilio Estevez (who also stars) this is a great example of what an ensemble cast can do.
And what an ensemble cast it is: Harry Belafonte, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson, Ashton Kutcher, Shia LaBeouf, Lindsay Lohan, William H. Macy, Demi Moore, Freddy Rodríguez, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Sharon Stone and Elijah Wood, to list just the most well-known ones. Some divas there, but all performed very well, I thought. Many points of view, many storylines, all culminate in the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. A moving, impressive movie!
