This film is plagued with problems, the first being that it's downright boring. The first movie had plenty of hand to hand combat, and interesting ways for the kids to die. In this sequel, if the kids aren't being shot, their heads are exploding....

This film is plagued with problems, the first being that it's downright boring. The first movie had plenty of hand to hand combat, and interesting ways for the kids to die. In this sequel, if the kids aren't being shot, their heads are exploding. There's absolutley no variation in the violence.

Secondly, none of the new class has any personality. The first class was interesting because you could distinctly tell what kid was in what social group, and who were and weren't friends. This film was missing that, along with hardly any backstory, so the new characters aren't the least bit interesting.

...and the ending is absolutely terrible.
