Robots is about a robot named Rodney Copper bottom, who is an inventor, and dreams of meeting and working for big weld.

He moves to robot city to find that big welds company is being run by ratchet, who has plans to rid robot city of any robot who can't afford upgrades.

Robots is a great animated movie, the movie is very well done as is the characters, has a great story, and a bunch of top actors as the cast.

This movie was not as good as I thought it would have been. It was promoted better than it was. So it is ok, but could have been better. The message is a good one though, and that helps it some. A good family movie.

I wasn't expecting much when I watched this but was surprised and rather enjoyed the film. The storyline of Rodney going to the city to find his fortune seemed to have a tiny bit of Charlie & the Chocolate factory and a few other quirks from some other films I couldn't quite put my finger on at the time.

The music, voice overs and the animation all add up to a well made film and this is one that all the family can enjoy.

Much like the reviewer below, I wasn't expecting a lot from Robots when I initially heard about it. I was pestered into renting it in the end, and ultimately I was far from disappointed with what I watched.

Robots is the story of a boy genius (Rodney Copperbottom) who will do whatever it takes to fulfil his dream of becoming an inventor, so he embarks on a journey to Robot City to attempt to do just that. Ewan McGregor is charming in the leading role as Rodney, and Mel Brooks plus Robin Williams do a fine job of providing the laughs throughout the film.

I have to say that this one of the best computer animated movies made to date, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a feel-good movie with plenty of amusing moments.

By this time, I was sick of all these animation films and I was sick of this film. I did like it and it was really well animated, but why hasn't someone come out with a new hilarious animation like Shrek and Finding Nemo?
