Mack 'Truck' Turner a once professional Football Player,now a skip tracer(a term for bounty hunter).Along with his partner Jerry,goes after the bounties that nobody else wants to pursue.They are very good at their jobs.They bring back the bail-jumpers any way they can dead,and or alive.Because of this fact,they get in trouble.This is particularly true when they pursue a mean-spirited pimp named Gator.In a shoot-out near one of his hide-outs,Gator opens fire on Turner,and Jerry.They are forced to shoot him...in self-defence.Gators girlfriend Dorinda does'nt see it that way,and vows vengeance against Turner.
