Director John Waters returns true to form with this film, a much better movie than the preceding "Female Trouble". I think this is one of Waters' funniest films, packed full of scenes with hilarious lines, and interesting to the very end. Waters is still mixing disgusting absurdities with appalling sexual themes, but the humor in the presentation is what shows that Waters is a true genius. Another fine performance by Divine is complimented by the appearance of cult movie bombshell Liz Renay. In addition, we have 400-pound Jean Hill...wow, there's so much to love about this movie!
