Robert Lindsay plays Bert Rigby a-singing-coal miner. Bert Rigby loves singing and dancing to the old classics(e.g Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly). He finally finds a manager but then is left by his manager and his hopes are shattered. But, through this movie Bert meets people and yet gets knocked back but in the end he turns out to be a great sucess and achieves what he has always wanted. Ten out of Ten.
