A very interesting and hilarious movie. Matt and Jenna are like the most perfect couple ever. I really love their connection with each other :)

Such a great movie! I've always been a Jen fan, and am also one of Sean Marquette (playing young Matty). It's so sweet and funny, and a great flashback with all the 80s music. The extras on the DVD are fun, too. I'll never get tired of it.

Nice and interesting story and of course a great Jennifer Garner and a cute Mark Ruffalo. But after all its just a well made "chick flick".

I probably would have gieven this an 8 but now I realise it isn't as good as I thought it was when I saw it for the firs time. Sure it's pretty funny but there is not much to to the storyline and the humour apart from a few top actors! I would see...

I am giving this a somewhat generous 3.5. It is entertaining, for what it is, but it's a pretty dumb movie overall - great for watching when you are sick in bed or very tired possibly. The 80s references were pretty cheap and generic so that made it seem less "credible", but this movie is not necessarily meant to be accurate, more just light hearted entertainment. It's actually pretty funny in some parts and Jennifer Garner's character is very likeable, albeit naive. I think the naivete was supposed to be cute and she pulls that off. Mark Ruffalo just sort of plays the same "normal dude" role he does in every other film he stars in, but hey - there is maybe something to be said for the "normal guy"? For some reason, I have watched this movie more than a few times and still like it. I would say it is worth watching if you are looking for some innocent, somewhat mindless entertainment!

Also, I have a 13 year old sister and I can tell that even she thought movie was stupid... and a disgrace for every 13 year old. Actually I think that one my sister's question tell's everything about this movie: "Why is Alias girl acting like a moron?"

But, some good scenes (e.g., the "Thriller" dance scene) made the movie bearable.
