Jenna Rink just wants to be popular, and will do almost anything to get there, including dump on her best friend from childhood Matt. The popular clique is invited to Jenna's 13th birthday party, and they make her day by showing up, but they only want her to do their homework. After ordering Jenna into the closet for a game of '7 minutes in Heaven' they leave. In walks her best friend, fellow-nerd, Matt. He opens the closet door, and exposes Jenna waiting for the popular guy to enter. When she sees Matt, she starts to cry that she wants to be '30 and flirty' over and over, knocking Matt's present of 'magic wishing dust' onto her. The next thing she sees is her life at 30, and she is running her own magazine, and stepping all over the people in her life. The biggest shock, is that she hasn't spoken to Matt since that day at her 13th birthday, and he is engaged to be married.
