Gleason is U.S. Bates, a meglomaniac millionaire who owns most of south central Louisana. Pryor is Jack Brown, a former journalist who has worked his way down the employment ladder to the position of janitor. Coincidentally, it happens to be at Bates' department store. Among Bates other vast holdings is a young son, Eric, who visits his father once a week. You can tell they don't have quite a great relationship. Typically, Eric is chauffered to the toy store after hours to pick anything he wants. This time, Eric has a more elaborate toy in mind - Jack Brown. You can guess what'll happen in this zany comedy of a rich, spoiled, bratty little boy who never had a real friend, that is, until he meets up with Jack Brown. But, nobody said it was going to be easy...
