A very good movie before Star Wars this is Alec Guinnes best movie a great movie with a good story

There are a handful of movies I can say are perfect. THE SEVEN SAMURAI, THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY, Unforgiven, HEAT, and THE BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI. A brilliant piece of film making I wish they would bring back to movies today.

Probably the best war film ever.
David Lean showed here why he's one of the top directors of all time. Both Alec Guinness and Sessue Hayakawa are superb on their roles and Holden is also very good.
