In 1952 Bishop Bilodeau arrives at a Quebec penitentiary to witness a dying man's confession, but not all is as he believes. Where he expects a dying man he instead finds one Simon alive and well, and where he expected to find absolution he finds the ghosts of past deeds alive and well. Simon remembers why he is in prison, and he will make sure that Bilodeau will remember that morning in 1912 too.
