Love the movie, even if it didnt follow the book. The songs are cool, but they get stuck in my head alot

This was really disapointing. It did not follow the book at all, a little, but not so much. The title isn't right, and it was so stupid. The songs were terrible and over all it was a waste of time.

two things about this film beat the remake hands down, Gene Wilder, and the green and orange umpalumpas. This film shouldnt be judge along side the Burton/Depp remake because quite frankly the two are equally brilliant in their own ways.

Gene Wilder is brilliant as the eccentric Willy Wonka, and the Oompa Loompas crack me up every time. Classic family film.

This movie outshines the remake in almost every area. I still get a laugh everytime I see that fat kid get sucked up by the tube in the chocolate river.
