Sergio Leone makes his fourth western movie. The Good The Bad nd The Ugly was easly the best of the first three, but can Once Upon A Time In The West top the masterpiece? The story To Start with is by no doubt one of the best of Leones westerns. A young woman (Claudia Cardinale) from another town travels to her becoming Husband. Only to find him and his children killed by bandits. Henry Fonda plays the leader of the band Frank wonderful, and there is nothing to complain about the other peoples acting either. The plot is at it´s best. And the script is lovable, the man with the harmonica is a fantastic idèa that gives the director the freedom to make realy nice scenes, mysterious scenes (Watch the movie and you´ll know what i mean. Well... Sergio Leone is with no doubt one of the best directors ever lived, so the directing in this case is nothing to worry about at all. But down to the competition, is this better than The Good The Bad And The Ugly? No, it isn´t, at least i don´t think so, Ennio Morricones music is equal in both movies but you will recodnise that Sergio wasn´t planning on doing this movie, he wanted to make Once Upon a Time In America instead, nd i miss the love in this movie that is in TGTBTU and OUATIA.

OUaTitW is an absolutely classic and one of the greatest westerns ever commited to film. Henry Fonda is in total badass mode, and Charles Bronson puts in a great performance as the mysterious Harmonica. Leone's direction and the film's cinematography is stunning. The plot keeps the viewer's interest through-out with exciting events and revelations. The film also boasts some of the greatest music in the history of motion picture, thanks to the master, Ennio Morricone.
