This movie definately was not as good as the first. But, I still found it somewhat enjoyable. Personally, I blame the bad reviews on the writers. A lot of the jokes and lines were kind of corny and lame. McG(director) said that in regard to the action, he didn't want the angels to have their "gravity defying" fighting style anymore. I actually thought that it worked better. I don't know. I think I just wanted the same fun-loving adventure that we got in the first. 3/5

No, no, no. Bad story, acting and plot. Laughable effects and half of the movie is just corny.

Sequels, the endless reaching for the rainbow and its subsequent pot of gold. But, alas, fewer and fewer are even willing to believe that the pot of gold even exists...and more importantly, willing to pay to find out if it does.

The truth of the matter is, sequels should be banned. This flix is an excellent example. The writing of the first movie was so-so, but at least campy, this was just crampy. No depth, no intelligence, even in the guise of comedy, and worse it never relented, you walk in and out of the movie with the exact same feeling...nothing.
The acting was what you would expect from people who knew they weren't making anything with substance. It's like the pro-bowl, they all show up with smiles, and leave with pay checks. No one really cares. Same goes here.
The martial arts were a joke. The action badly rehearsed and subsequently performed.
Thankfully, the TV series is available on DVD and I can get all the cheesy camp of the '70s.

I have to say I really didn't care for this movie. The first movie was fun but this one was just too over the top and too unbelievable. Then Drew Barrymore blames it on Demi Moore which was ridiculous. Bad writing was to blame not one actress....

Then Drew Barrymore blames it on Demi Moore which was ridiculous. Bad writing was to blame not one actress. I'd say if you're looking to watch a good Charlie's Angels remake stick with the first one.
