I love the way the movie was presented, it wasn't as confusing as I expected it to be. The idea behind the movie wasn't typical, and it was far more beautiful and expressive than I expected.

Wow, Jim Carey stars in a relatively serious movie all about drugs, love and emotional distraught, and it is brilliant. Michel Gondry's highly artistic and imagintive visual style, and consistency in emotional heart stays strong in the story, and just when you think Jim carey was a bad casting choice... his brilliantly emotional and powerful role to Joel, makes Carey a acting or true talent.

Terrific movie about relationships and heartbreaks. I love all aspects of this film, from the Jon Brion soundtrack to the quirky yet beautiful cinematography. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet have good chemistry, oddly enough.

Eternal Sunshine tells the story of broken hearts and forgotten memories. And it's done in a beautiful way. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are great together. You can clearly see why Joel fell in love with Clementine the first time. The memories that they share together were amazing. I questioned why he wanted to get rid of such priceless things. Great job by the director, Michel Gondry. The lighting for the film was great. They highlighted the mood perfectly. I also love the effects in the movie, especially the trick with baby Joel and Clementine as his babysitter. The dialogue was quick and snappy. There's never a missed moments between the two. Also look for a great performance by Mark Ruffalo.

This was one of the best romantic movies that I've seen. But it's also one of those films that you have to see a couple of times to actually get it. It was nice when the end of the movie hinted a reunion between Joel and Clementine. It just goes to show that you ultimately end up with the person you're destined to be with no matter what.
