It wasnt bad at all. It was an entertaining Bond movie starring an aged Sean Connery. I wouldn´t realy call it a remake of Thunderball, sure some names are the same, and there are some plot simularities, but not much enough for it to be called a remake. Connerys performance is very good, this was in his best years (the 80´s) and gives a solid performance as the aging bond. More than I think any other Bond movie this movie has humor, a lot of it, sometimes it feels allmost like a parody. The writing isn´t that good, but some of the jokes work well. The directing is pretty weak, but not that bad.
Overall, Never Say Never Again is an entertaining bond movie, if you are a fan of the series this will probably amuse you.

Not as bad as people say. If you liked Thunderball and would like to see another take on it I would recommend this. Connery isn't up to much though.

Overall, this film is pretty good and better than you would expect from a "remake". I personally wouldn't call it a remake since there is a lot of difference between this movie and Thunderball. The only real things they have in common are the names of the characters, other than that, some things have changed. The worst thing is that the end battle is anti-climatic. Between the two, Thunderball is better, but this is still worth watching if not for the last Bond performance of Connery alone

An ok Unoficial bond movie it is still ok Connery still does a good job as Bond my rating is 3 1/2 Stars.
