Goldfinger, the third James Bond film which stars Sean Connery as James Bond, also for the third time. This film is quite enjoyable to say the least. It's a 60's classic, with the obvious Bond elements that makes a great Bond film. Auric Goldfinger turned out to be a memorable villain, who was also responsible for killing a woman and turning her into gold. That is what you call terrific. Oh yeah, who can forget Oddjob? The man who can kill someone with his own hat as the gracious weapon.
My favorite quote of the film said by Connery has always been "Discipline 007... Discipline" = epic Connery quote (this was said during a car scene having a lady overtake him) If I had to select a favorite scene or two I'd go with the first hour of the film which involved the Aston Martin car scenes - through Switzerland at day, and of course, the fantastic Connery car chase scene in the dark. Another amazing scene was near the beginning which include Bond's first encounter with Goldfinger, at Miami, followed by the golf course where not only did Goldfinger attempt to cheat changing the Slazenger golf ball, but got Oddjob himself to present to James his hat trick. It wasn't a trick was it..

The second half of the film quite honestly doesn't quite cut the awesomeness of the first. My reason is basically due to the fact that the film doesn't go anywhere, but remains stable in the same location. I know this may sound harsh, but really, it was one of the films major flaws. Luckily, the powerful Connery lines along with **** Galore and the plot itself kept the interest at an all time high. Also, I have to point out Goldfinger's death.. Not the best, he just falls out of a plane's window accidently. On the other hand, Oddjob's fate brought out the best in this Bond (except for Sean Connery himself of course). Overall; Goldfinger is most definitely one of the better 007 films and the best of Sean Connery's six appearances, with Dr. No right behind. This film has an nice combination of great story, plot, action (first half of the film), a definite 60's Bond intro (superb)
with a decent title theme. Goldfinger, although it wouldn't come close to being the best Bond flick in my eyes, shows us the best of the 60's, Sean Connery and a memorable film which fans of the James Bond franchise cherish today. Best quotes:
James: "Do you expect me to talk? Goldfinger: "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die!"

James: "What about, operation Grand Slam for instance?"

Goldfinger is a superb Bond villian, and Oddjob is also a great character,even though all he says is " ahh,ahh!" Connery finally has grown into the role and looking completely comfortable with it. With that said he gives one of his best performaces of 007. The plot is clever and freah, but yet feels more unreal, than the first two. The character deepth in this one is great, which is why the film is a little overrated,i believe. All and all this is a classic and has some of the best villians in the series.

James Bond is back again for the 3rd time! Sean Connrey return as 007. This time he has to stop a crazy and insane villian Goldfinger from robbing gold from fort knox. I like the classic scene when Goldfinger had Bond strap to the table with the laser coming between his leg. I also like Oddjob who toss his hat and and it slice through things. This movie has a great action and good story. I really enjoy watching this classic movie.

Possibly the most iconic Bond film in history. Goldfinger isn't quite as serious as Dr. No or From Russia With Love, and it relies on gadgets more, but it is still an enjoyable film (albiet with some ridiculous elements).

Yes, this is the classic film, but I can't help but wonder if it is a little overated. Don't get me wrong, it is enjoyable, but other Bond films have been better. The highlight is definitely worthy of praise, of course I refer to the laser scene....

This is my favorite of all Bond films! The first 007 film to see the Astin Martin. Such a great car to look at. The storyline is fairly simple to follow along. Even a 5 year old would love this movie!

IMO this is the best "Bond" movie ever made.

The story is great: Our hero (Bond) is sent to spy on an eccentric millionaire who might be plotting to monopolize the owlds gold supply (see describtion up there).

Sean is once again fantastic, as well as all the other actors and actresses. I even thought i saw Al Pacino in a small role in the backround at one scene. (might just be me)

Anyway i think this is the best "Bond" movie ever. So if you like Bond, or in fact action movies. This is deeply recomended.

A great Bond movie with great Bond action and a great a great Bond story my rating is 4 stars.

Who can forget Goldfinger? A movie whose scenes prove to be legendary and a plot that will live forever. Well, Sean Connery returns as James Bond in possibly his best role ever. 007 must track down a man called Auric Goldfinger who plans an attack to create a monopoly of golld supply.

There's a lot of action in this movie, and gadgets as well. Who can forget Bond's Aston Martin? The car itself is full of many interesting "add-ons". And don't forget the Bond girls. Yes, there's more than one now.

Goldfinger has many memorable Bond moments as well: Oddjob's introduction with the deadly hat, the Golden Girl, when 007 first meets Ms. Galore realizing he must be dreaming, and when Bond is tied up and about to be cut by a laser and asks Goldfinger: "Do you expect me to talk", Golfinger answers: "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"

Goldfinger is a legendary movie!
