Awake is a really good suspense thriller. With a unique story that keeps you captivated. They twist near the end is also great. The acting from Hayden Christensen, Terrence Howard, Lena Olin and others was great. Finally there is Jessica Alba makes any movie she's in better. The's just hot and can act to.

There is really only one thing to say about Awake...it SUCKS!The actors lack the skills needed to carry the movie.I am not a Jessica Alba fan and this movie added more negativity towards her.The plot of this movie was so off and unrealistic that i honestly dont know why they bothered.I do think Terrence Howard is a great actor and Hayden Christiansan is ok but they could have picked a better script their talents were wasted in the production of this film.The story is somewhat confusing and most of the film is focused on Haydens character who is asleep but is really awake and feels the surgical procedure being done its an hour and half of painless screaming,running around a hospital and jessica alabas acting.

Awake is a silly movie that really should not have been made. Its pretty bad to be honest. Christensen plays a young businessman (yes its true) who has a heart problem. He needs a new one and he is also hiding his relationship to alba from his mother. So... he gets the call and the new heart is ready for him. Howard plays the doc friend who is going to do the operation. The mother does not want christensen to be married and she does not want him to use howard. She gets the best doctor in the world or wherever but he choses howard. As they put him to sleep he realizes that he is really AWAKE.. He finds out there is a plot to kill him so he tries to get up. Then some other things happen and it all has a nice happy ending. Yes its true thats the plot and story. The good thing about this movie is that it is short. The acting is horrible in this movie as is the premise. I give this movie 2 stars because alba is in it and she is a good sight. If you have a chance to rent this movie to see alba show some of her body then you should rent it. Overall this is a bad movie that should be skipped.
