Baggage workers Wilbur Grey and Chick Young ship two crates containing exhibits of the Frankenstein Monster and Count Dracula over to McDougal's House of Horrors, but during a black out at the building, Wilbur discovers the exhibits are alive and Dracula flees with the Monster, leaving the two to be arrested for losing the exhibits. Bud and Chick are released on bail by Joan Raymond, a female insurance investigator looking for McDougal's exhibits, and later they meet Laurence Talbot, the alter-ego of the Wolf Man, who has travelled from Europe to gain their aid in helping him find and destroy Dracula before he can revive the Monster with a new brain. Wilbur and Chick instead go to a castle on an island to attend a masquerade ball with Wilbur's girlfriend Dr. Sandra Mornay and meet her co-worker Professor Stevens, unaware that Sandra is helping Dracula and wants to put Wilbur's brain in the Monster's body. When Dracula hypnotizes Joan at the ball and takes her and Wilbur to the castle shortly afterwards, it's up to Chick and Talbot to save them before Dracula can use Wilbur's brain to revive the Monster -- and before the full moon rises to turn Talbot into the Wolf Man!
