"One of the greatest horror films of all time."

'Session 9' only occasionally makes sense, but it's a disturbing film and one of the most intensely creepy films I recall ever seeing. It didn't matter to me that only certain scenes made sense, it was the film's haunting feel of psychological distress that really got to me and for being able to do that alone signifies that the film succeeded rather significantly. Still, apart from an incredibly psychologically scary and disturbing scene involving a tape recording of a mental patient, 'Session 9' failed to leave a huge impression on me. Not quite a horror masterpiece and cannot even compare to the psychological brilliance of 'The Blair Witch Project' which it is so commonly compared to, but still, what an impeccably creepy film this is.
